1.1 Project Charter
1.1.1 Justifying the Project
The aim of developing this home-based child care is to provide parents with children who are
age 1-3 with an opportunity to provide an amicable environment where they can leave the
children and work. The aim of this home is to provide for the 6 children with an environment
where they can grow and develop without any issue. With the home, these children will be taken
care of by qualified individuals. It will be a chance of giving these parents a place where they
can work and at the same time develop together. The idea is based on the fact that at many
instances parents with kids aged between 1 and 3 find it difficult to concentrate on their jobs due
to the demand of making sure that their kids are safe and are provided for with the right
environment which they can use to grow and develop. With the home-based care, the parents
will have the chance to work and feel comfortable understanding that their children are safe and
provided for. It will be a chance for these parents to work and raise their economic conditions
without worrying about the welfare of their kids.
The development of this home is based on understanding that in most cases when nannies have
been given the responsibility of look after these children they have either provided undesirable
services or in other cases they have harmed these kids. The home is an opportunist provided to
the parents to give their kids the best environment where they can be protected and watched. It
will be used as a mechanism for avoiding a different type of mistreatment which kids have had to
endure as they grow. The home will be working around the clock to maintain the trust and the
confidence of the parents as they leave their sons and daughter. The home will be aligning with
the required international services which are needed to raise these kids and offer them the

opportunity to grow. The home will also provide an opportunity for the poor parents to leave
their kids so that they can search for their daily bread without having any issue on what their kids
will be going through. The idea is to provide the locals with a real environment where their kids
can grow and at the same time. The center will also train the parents on good parenthood and
how they can care for their kids with the little they have.
1.1.2 Aligning the Project to the Organizational Strategy
The plan perfects align with the organizational strategy which is to provide a cost-effective
facility which will be providing child care services to the locals. It will provide household
informal caregiving information to the locals. The based idea or strategy of the organization is to
work closely with the community with the aim of improving their welfare and develop HBC
programs which will be assisting the parents with a place where their kids can enjoy. The
program aligns with the organizational needs of developing a program which will be aimed at
giving back to the community and at the same time educating the community on the various
mechanisms they can use in the process of safeguarding their future. The organization is based
on the value of the local community and the need to provide the locals with an environment
where they can enjoy what the company has to offer. It is a strategy developed with the goal of
bringing the community together and at the same time giving them hope through their young
kids. The organization understands that kids are the future and thus they must be provided with
the right environment no matter the cost. It is something that must be delivered.
1.1.3 Identification of Stakeholders
The following are the stakeholders:

Local community elders: they will have the role of informing the community on the ideas they
can get from the facility. They will also have an active role in showing the locals about the need
to have the home and the possible benefits
Parents; they are the ones who will be bringing their kids. They have an active role in the daily
operation of the facility. They will also give their inputs on the care facility
Funders/sponsors: they will be providing the financial backing to the facility their role will also
be giving the implementation plan which should be followed
Caregivers: they will be the employees who will be tasked with making sure that kids are given
the ultimate care. They will be educating parents on what is required in the process. The
combination of these stakeholders will see the program work to the top.
