This part of the paper is where you should write a fantastic introduction that links all of
the various themes and ideas of the paper together. More than three sentences are generally
needed for a good introduction or any paragraph. In the paper, you should follow all of the
requirements of the assignment. You should also read the syllabus. You should also remember
the word count for the assignment, knowing that Dr. Sansom will gladly accept more words if
you chose to write them. For more helpful tips, please continue to read further.
In all papers, you must cite all of your work. The following sentences are a few examples
of how to cite a specific from the textbook. The Internet is a vast and important tool for
communication not only in American culture but also in all modern culture as well (Lule, 2012).
Lule (2012) discuss the evaluation of the Internet. If you use a quote, you should cite with the
page number like the following sentence. Unlike many other forms of mass communication, the
Internet originated as a military-government project (Lule, 2012, p. 15). Notice that the period
in the previous sentence is after the parenthesis. As another example, this passage is a long quote
from acting teacher Uta Hagen (1991); this example shows how to use a long quote:
I believe in the immortality of the theatre. It is the most joyous hide-away for all those
who have secretly put their childhood in their pocket and gone off and away with it to
play on to the end of their days. (p. 290)
Long quotes should be used sparinglyprobably no more than one (maybe two) in the size
papers you are required to write for this class. Long quotes are defined as quotes over 40 words.
Additionally, throughout this paper, you should use the writing tips that are given in the Weekly
Overviews located in the Course Material Forum.

This part of the paper is where you should write a fantastic conclusion that unites the
themes and issues of the paper. Conclusions should probably be at least three sentences or more.
Below you will find a reference page. You will note that the reference page is on a separate page
and that the references are in alphabetical order. Also, the word References is centered. Below
are a few examples of references; they are examples only. You do not have to use these exact
references in your papers. For your convenience, I included the textbook. Always reference
what you cite, and cite what you reference. For extended examples and help, please go to the
universitys CWE. Please remember that section headings are bolded, but the bolding in the
body of text is only something that I have done it here for your convenience here; it is not
formatting. Also, please remember to delete the references on the reference page below that you
do not use in your paper. With the exception of your textbook, the references below are simply
examples and should not be in your paper. I hope you found this paper template helpful.
