Introduction & Problem.
I have been offered a job at a career consulting company. This company needs somebody
to come in a be a professional in my field. My field is specialized, and I plan on bringing great
success with me. At the career consulting company, I plan on bringing my career expertise to
where I have always gotten the best out of employers and how they love working with me as
well. I have also been known to be great when working with clients and other company’s in
coming up with deals and projects. In this company I will be put in as the Human Resources
Manager/General Manager with my expertise in helping companies hire the right workforce and
to make sure they understand all major policies and procedures. I will also help companies
establish their own policies and procedures to ensure they have a safe and legal business. This
means I will help all types of companies that deal with hiring and firing, recruiting people,
placing workers in the right situations, training employers, paying employers, and most
important of all in making sure they understand everything about running the Human Resources
department.
I feel the career consulting company should hire me and my career field of expertise
because I have the credentials and I have the work experience to help bring this business out of
the low light and back up to a prominent business again. I have a double bachelor’s degree in
accounting/Finance and a MBA (Master of Business Administration) as well with a
concentration in Human Resources. I also have 10 plus years of working experience in a related
business field.
Objectives & Solution
Now I don’t think one person like myself can singly handle help make a successful
company in the HR department. I feel that the first rule when putting together a business is to
make sure you hire the correct HR manager employee. Instead of hiring another person who just
graduated college and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and putting them right
into a management position, that is just not the right way. It is not fair for the company or the
person who just graduated and got put into this prominent position. That is why I feel somebody
needs years of experience in a related field and has a proven track record for a job like this. I
believe work experience is huge in a job title like this. I have been at a company where we had a
problem somewhat like this and it just caused problems because the employee wasn’t
experienced enough and made multiple mistakes. That’s why my first offer of advice for HR
departments is to hire their manager who has their degree plus multiple years of experience in a
related field.
In fact, according to Martin Birchall of High Fliers Research he said that having work
experience is just as important to having a college degree. “New graduates who’ve not had any
work experience at all during their studies are increasingly unlikely to be offered a good graduate
job after university,” said Birchall. Reason being is because they do not have the experience to
make tough choices. You can do all these scenarios and situations in college all you want, but
until you must make a tough choice in the real world that effects people’s life’s then you won’t
be prepared until you learn on the job and be mentored.
According to California States University that in 1993 “93 percent of interns in workstudy programs were offered jobs by their employers,” according to a Northwestern University
study that was part of California State’s review. Therefore, it is very important to try to get some
internships throughout your college career. That way you have some experience and are better
prepared for when you graduate and get hired at a real job with a full-time position that affects
people. I would say besides your degree internships are huge too just so that you get your feet
wet and can learn to understand how that field works. The more experience that you have then
the greater your salary is as well.

businesses. You always want to hire people based on their qualifications and resume. Never hire
people based off a bias. That would show ignorance as a boss and that you didn’t hire the right
person for the right job. There is also a good chance if that happened that the people would not
work, and the management would not manage. You want to make sure you hire the right people
who will fit your culture and work and get everything done the correct way. You always want to
go through and examine everybody in the same way to see if they fit your culture scheme. Our
goal is to help people find jobs that best suit them. If we cannot do that then we are not doing our
job right. If you can hire people that want to work here and want to be here, then it will make
everybody happier. Your company’s goal should be to have a happy workplace that gets along
together, has teamwork, and gets their work done.
As I said before your goal should be to put together a team that likes to work with each
other and for each other. Your main priority is the customers of your business as without
customers you would not even have your job as the business you work for wouldn’t exist. To
ensure this you must hire the right people and put them in the right positions to succeed. You are
going to hire people based on their qualifications and experience. Just make sure to look at their
track record and make sure they fit what your company is looking for. If you can accomplish
this, then you can accomplish your goals.
The first part of hiring all the positions is to hire a top assistant manager. He/She will be
ranked right below you and will help with hiring and running this business right. They play a
vital part in taking some stress off you. Together you are going hire people in certain fields and
make sure they can be successful in it. At most business you have many specialized fields. From
customer service to financial advisors to accountants and research analyst you want to hire them
all.
Your customer service will oversee interacting with customers and clients on behalf of
the company/organization. They will provide information about what we do and how we do it.
There goal is to be customer friendly and to hopefully convince customers that you are right for
them. Your financial advisor will oversee helping clients and employees with their money. They
will make sure clients plan for short term and long-term goals so that they are prepared for
expenses and future retirement savings. There goal is to make sure your clients will be educated
enough so they can remain financially stable for the rest of their life. Your business should have
a primary accountant. Your accountant will oversee our financial records. They will perform
financial overviews for our business and make sure we are in good keepings money wise. You
should also have one or two research analysts. They will always be looking around monitoring
certain trends that have to deal with your business. They will look at theories and try to see if
there is anything that will affect your industry in any way. They will also look at how you can
bolster your business into making it better as well.
These are really the main areas in most businesses that you want hire right away. You
may not need every position I listed, or they might not have that exact role but to be successful
you want most of those parts. They play an essential part in every business and are usually
