ANS: I am Originally from Dalian China. Have been study in Michigan for 2 years than transfer to IIT.
Right now, my major is Marketing.

ANS: Will graduating in December this year, so one more semester ahead.
1. Can you talk about your plans for the next 3 months, after graduation?
Do you plan to stay in the Chicago area?
Where are you focusing your job search?
ANS: I already hire an immigration lawyer to seek the investment immigration to Canada. So, after
graduation I would basically head to Canada way. Won’t be stay in Chicago area because I feel it is hard
to seek opportunity here. The job search will be push little bit behind on my schedule, but if there is a
chance I would mostly focusing my job search back in China. (Especially my hometown Dalian)
2. What would be your ideal job after graduation? Can you describe where it would be? What
company would you be working with?
ANS: My ideal job after graduation would be an office clerk in a big deal company such like Ford or
Tesla (I love motor companies a lot). Better if I could join those research or develop department,
that would be my dream job after graduation. Where it would be? Ahh, it will be nice if the
department hold place in Asia (especially China). I believe any international size motor company
would be great, Tesla Inc. could be my top pick if there must be one.
3. Have you started a job search? Where are you receiving coaching for your job search?

ANS: Like I said, right now I will mainly be focusing on my immigration plan to Canada. So not start those
job search yet. But I do receiving some coaching for job search. Received some technique from one of
my professor in this semester. Also, my father’s friend coaching me by his experiences for those job
search.
Don’t have a mentor on this area.
Mostly internet, these days lots of hiring information comes from internet.
Yes, I do talk with friends about this topic but mostly is listen their experiences on finding jobs. (some of
my friends already graduate from their school so this kind of topic appears very often)
4. Can you tell me about any concerns you have about your job search?
ANS: English is not my native language will this be a major concern to those companies. Also, I may
concern myself on present when comes to an interview.
5. What are your best assets and greatest strengths?
ANS: I would say self-confidence. (it is a tough one, really hard to analysis myself to a greatest
strength don’t think I have one though LOL)
6. Please talk about the trends that will have the biggest impact on your career over the next few
years.
ANS: Trends will impact on my career. I would say the trends on bilateral trade between US and
China could be impact on my career. Other than that, I would say its hard to think of another one
under the situation of —I don’t even have a job yet.
7. If there was one skill you wish you had developed, what would that be?
ANS: I would say software develop or upgrade skill is one of the wish. Because I believe there will be
a digital future up ahead.
8. Do you think about what kind of work you might be doing in the next 3 years?
ANS: I think it will be something small something very limited and could be repeat stuff. Just most
office worker will be faced. Other than that, I could say, maybe selling or retail stuff could be
another thing I might be doing in next 3 years.
9. Is there anything you would like to add? Hopes and concerns about your career?
ANS: HOPE everything go smooth just like I planned but will be concern about those uncertain
factors that could be happened on the future road.

Design Principles fill the “intuition gap” that exists between understanding
user needs and the solution that meets those needs.
This method is a way to purposely transition from the insights you’ve
framed to begin to explore concepts in a disciplined manner, so concepts
are fully grounded in objective research data rather than biased by
subjective assumptions.
