I think I can get 15 because I participate in small group. I think 1 of every two classes we say a
word or one sentence after a video. The only thing is not participate in big group every class.

Difficult in the beginning and in the middle because I was afraid to speak and some people
laugh because of the pronunciation or the miss grammar. At the end, I get more better
especially after the presentation because I stand in front the class.

Some lessons of this course talks about religion and culture, there are a lot of different
between mine and my classmates’ religion and culture. So. In these points I really afraid to
speak for groub because I don’t want them to get wrong understand and think I offend theirs.
Sometime because I don’t know how can I say the information that I want in good way.

How did you reconcile your participation/engagement challenges as the course
progressed?
At the end of this course, I recognize a lot of people respect other and understand them. I
had an experience in this class, 5 weeks ago, the teacher made groups to discuss video that
shown. I participated a little, when the teacher asked me what we said in groups I respond I
don’t remember. After the class, one of my group’s remember came to me and said I don’t
think you never remember anything from what we discussed. I think you meant something
else because I don’t remember means you did not listen to us but you did! The thing that I
wanted to say was I don’t know how I can pronounce some words and I don’t any synamon
words relate to them.
This course has made me more brave to talk. I learned a lot of Americans’ life. This course
has made me more feel reliefs when talk to people. But unfortionally I learned that too late! I
will do that in my future classes.
