Requesting additions to design document for easy Java program

At this point, you are ready to start developing Java code to ask questions on customer information and the sub that customers want to order. You are only concerned with the functionality to request and provide feedback on what the customer entered. Your main focus is on defining your classes and abstract classes and utilizing the concept of inheritance and polymorphism for the final sub the customer orders. You will first prompt for customer name and delivery address, like in this sample (picture attached) that prompts for the customer name:Then, you will prompt for the beverage, sub bread, sub type, and sub size. You should present a message echoing back all of the information that the customer entered, similar to example presenting the customerâ??s name with a message (picture of message attached):Make sure you prompt for these four attributes (beverage, bread, type, and size) that you will need to request from the customer to define for the final sub and beverage selection. Also, be sure to comment all of your code to demonstrate that you understand what the code is doing.Update the title page for the Design Document with the project name (Unit 2 IP) and the date.Add the following section header: Phase 2 Application Screenshots.Add screenshots of each distinct screen from your running application.Name the document yourname_ITSD424_IP2.doc.Submit the design document and zipped Java project files *I’ve attached the original document you did just in case*

UML Model for Project
It is important to create system designs before the actual development of the system to give a
clear picture of the system. UML models such as use cases show how different users interact
with the system and the relevant functions of the system (Abrahamsson et al., 2017). The
diagrams also enable the developing team to discover necessary system requirements (Bahill &
Madni, 2017).
System narrative
The Famous Favorite Subs System will allow the customers to order their favorite subs online
and be delivered to them through a cycle of:
â?¢ Customer creating account or login.
â?¢ System authenticating and authorizing the user.
â?¢ Customer selecting beverage, sub roll, type, and size.
â?¢ System computing the total cost and displaying the order details.
â?¢ Customer placing order.
â?¢ Management viewing placed orders.
â?¢ Management delivering the order.
â?¢ Customer paying the order.
â?¢ Management returning change if any
â?¢ Management setting the order as completed.
System requirements
The Famous Favorite Subs System will have the following requirements so that it can operate as
desired. The following are the system requirements:

3
The system should show create account and login panel for the user to enter details then
authenticate and authorize the user to use the system if he or she is authentic.
The system should have for drop down boxes with following labels beverage, sub roll, type, and
size in order to allow the user to select the desired product.
Computation of the total cost of an order will be done by the system and display the details of the
order (Laplante, 2017).
A place order button should be included in the system to allow the customer to place the order.
The management should be able to view the placed orders and deliver them.
Payments will be made by the customer when an order is delivered and return any change.
Finally, the management should be able to declare an order as complete.
Use case

Class diagram
The following diagram shows the class diagram for Famous Favorite Subs System
Figure 2: SOURCE Author’s class diagram for Favorite Famous Subs System
As shown in the diagram, the system will have three main classes for main actors which are
Customer, Order, and Management. Customer will be able to create or pay zero to many orders
but every order must belong to a specific one customer. The management will be able to deliver
zero to many orders but every order must be delivered by one person in the management. All
classes have attributes as well as methods for retrieving and set values to them. It is important to
note that variable state in class Order is used to indicate whether the order has been delivered or
not.

When the system starts, customers will be required to login or signup new accounts. This will be
achieved by allowing the user to enter his/her username and password. The system will check if
the details are authentic and if they are not then the user will be required to sign up.
After authentication, the system will authorize the user to view order items. Then the user will
select his/her favorite items then place an order to the system. After placing an order the system
will process it and show relevant information such as cost. The processing of order also includes
updating the order status in order to reflect that the order should be delivered by the
management. The management will have to deliver orders which have been placed by the
customer and the customer will have pay when the order is delivered. Finally, when the customer
pays for the delivery, the management enters the payment to the system and system updates the
status of the order to complete. The system will also indicate the balance to be issued to the
customer and the management will have to give back the change to the customer.
Sequence diagram
The diagram below shows the sequence of operations with a successful login of the user.

The sequence starts with customer creating a session. Then the customer enters login details and
the system checks the validity of the details provided. The system requests the customer to select
items and after selecting items the system processes the order. The order details are then
provided to the customer and to the management. Because already the management has received
the order details, the favorite sub is then delivered to the customer. The customer has to pay in
cash for the delivered order to the management staff. The staff updates the payment on the
system and the system processes the order. Balance details are the shown to both customer and
the staff. Finally, the staff has to give the customer the balance.
